World Series Fees

All teams pay a team fee. Team fees do not include player membership fees, which are listed below under 2007 Dues/Insurance.

Roy Hobbs World Series member fees for 2007 are $3,350 before applying any discounts.  (Non-member fees are $4,500.)  These fees apply to all divisions.  Teams paying non-refundable $250 deposit before February 1, 2007 will receive a $100 discount off their fees (that means the $250 deposit is worth $350 with the applied discount).  Additionally, teams that have paid the deposit for 5 consecutive years will receive a $200 discount off their fees (that means the $250 deposit is worth $450 with the applied discount).  NOTE:  Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

These fees apply to all divisions except Family Ties, which will be set separately, and the Women’s Division, where fees will established on a scale proportionate to the games and time played. Contact Roy Hobbs directly for more information

Also, on-line registration for the 2007 World Series will be a must; all players must be registered on-line to be considered Roy Hobbs members and to be eligible for secondary medical insurance coverage.  Players checking in at the Series who are not registered on-line will be assessed a $25 non-member fee at registration (regardless of previous fees paid).

NOTE: Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

World Series Fee deadlines, discounts

Key to the fee schedule is the use of cashiers (bank) checks or money orders, as the discount structure remains the same.

The Roy Hobbs-member 2006 World Series fee will be $3,350; non-member teams will pay $4,500. The members’ discount/deadline structure is:

v $2,850 if paid in full before Sept. 1 by cashiers check or money order. ($500 discount)

v $3,100 if paid in full before Sept. 15 by cashiers check or money order. ($250 discount)

v $3,350 if payment is received after Sept. 15, regardless of form of payment.

v All fees include a non-refundable $500.

v The deadline to enter the 2007 event will be Monday, Oct. 1. (All fees non-refundable as of this date.)

Discounts must be done by cashiers check or money order. Roy Hobbs does accept credit cards, but there are no discounts when using credit card.
